#349 Das Attendant StaresFebruary 24, 2023
The wall is full of notes that are connected to each other by strings. Most of the notes connect in a somewhat linear fashion:
Das Law must not be moved. Unless Das Law is in danger.
Das Law must not be put to danger.
If Das Law is in danger, it must be protected.
Das Law must be moved where it is safe. If Das Law is to be moved, movers must be paid fairly. Payment must be given before work.
Das Attendant is personally responsible for keeping Das Law safe.
Das Law’s survival comes before keeping everything intact.
Das Law lives in the heart of the people.
Das Law’s survival means keeping it intact.
The final note connects to a busted old law book; Das Law. Das Attendant is standing in front of the book, eyes wide and mouth agape in shock.
Everyone must have flowers in their household.
Lollipops must not be licked in public.
Bugs are considered snacks, and tasty. Snacks must be crunched during eating.
Ear-cleaning is necessary and must be done often.
Inventions are illegal during Lawful Lazydays. Punishment by means of toe-ticklery.
Laws may only be written by Piff. Lord of the Realm is Piff. Piff is the best.
Stygian Lord says:
Beautiful, is it not?
The stare, I mean.
Big Sister says:
Demons C/O Imagine Dragons
Demons haunt these stories. Sometimes they're mental, and sometimes they're very, very real. Whether running from the oppressive existence of before, or trying to get to the bottom of a deadly plot, these stories have their work cut out for them.
