Transcript

Sharpie the detective holding his right hand up in the air, while his left hand holds a compass.
Sharpie: “Look, I just walked outta the HQ like a normal person. I ‘ad somewhere to be.”
Sharpie, thinking: “Directly to south-east.”
Stygian Lord: “Yes, the Slums. Not exactly where your average median would want to go for a vacation.“

Sharpie's compass in the foreground. He looks at the wooden floor. Stygian Lord and his goon's feet show a bit.
Stygian Lord: “But tell me, weren’t you eating a cookie as you stepped through the door?”
Sharpie: “I migh’ave. Can’t remember. I eat ‘em all the time.”
Sharpie, thinking: “About 3 footsies, is right there.”

The three black-cloaked goons look at the Stygian Lord as he talks.
Stygian Lord: “You were. Then a crow swooped in and grabbed it. You scrambled after it like a jittery toddler. And then cried on the knee of an old friend because you never got it back.”

Sharpie's eye widen at Stygian Lord's story, as do the guards behind him, their eyes shifting to look at him.
Stygian Lord: “And that’s how your important mission to the Slums took several extra days to begin.”
Sharpie: “...”

Sharpie tosses an egg forwards. It was the item in his right fist this whole time.
Sharpie: “I think that’s enough talk from ya.”
