#440 The Light is Back

Silhouette of the downed Aviatar lying on the floor. Sharpie the detective holds the Aviatar's hand as the guards around them mourn in silence. Stygian Lord narrates.
Stygian Lord: For centuries he gathered rare items. He cleared insurmountable ordeals. No matter what, the Aviatar triumphed.

Suddenly the Aviatar's limp hand starts floating up, along with the rest of the off-screen body. Sharpie and the guards stir at the view.
Stygian Lord: Dear readers.
SFX: ZING…

The three lords, Beast Lord, Keeptender and Quackles stop their circle dance as they witness the Aviatar's hand move in the air.
Stygian Lord: Do not think for a moment…
SFX: FSHH

The Aviatar awakes, his wounds completely healed, floating in the air majestically. Only tear marks from the Beast Lord's claws on his tunic are left. A little long-tailed bird, resembling a tufted titmouse, poses above, emanating resurrection magic.
Stygian Lord: ...that his story would end here.
SFX: FWOOOOOOOOOOOSHH!
